Welcome to Rabid Kouga Fan Girls Site!
InuYasha (犬夜叉) is the Greatest Anime Series of All Time!! The characters are all creative and well-thought out and Kouga is Hot! The constant struggle between Inuyasha and Naraku, between him and his brother Seshomaru, and even the wolf demon Koga. His romances with Kagome and Kikyo, and the lecherous monk Miroku's romance with the demon slayer Sango.
How far did they really go?
One character who was underutilized and loved by many a rabid fan girl was Kouga, the Wolf Demon. He is the fastest demon in the feudal era, and was so close to getting Kagome.
The series is named after one of the main characters. The name "InuYasha" means "dog spirit". Inu (犬) is a Japanese word meaning "dog". Yasha (夜叉) is a Buddhism-related word meaning "spirit".
The manga was adapted into a 167 episode anime series directed by Masashi Ikeda (episodes 1 to 44) and Yasunao Aoki (44 onwards) and produced by Sunrise. The anime first aired on Yomiuri TV in Japan from 16 October 2000 to 13 September 2004. The television run of the anime ceased without a conclusion to the story. As of August 2007, the manga is still being released in Japan.
In 2002, the manga won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen.
Inuyasha is so great, it has been one of the longest continuous cartoons shown on Cartoon Network and is popular worldwide.
There have also been 5 full-length movies, as well as numerous video games and books.
The only complaint one can throw at this series, is the ending, I will not spoil it, but hopefully there is more coming.
So, Be Honest, who was hotter: Kagome, Kikyo, Sango, or Kagura?
